A landmark building in the centre of Harrogate, taken back to a shell and re-built into 7 luxury urban apartments. The Alexander Gibson team took reservation deposits and sold all the units six months before completion of the project, then guided the buyers through the legal process to completion. The developer was so impressed with our service that he used Alexander Gibson again for his next project in Ben Rhydding, near Ilkley, and again we took a deposit and sealed the sale months before completion.
Sweet Briar, Kirkby Overblow
The other side of the development process; this property was in need of modernisation, and had been on the market for well over a year with another agent. The elderly owner needed to be closer to Harrogate for convenient living, so we brokered a deal with a developer who is now turning the property into a fantastic luxury residence. It took delicate handling over some months to keep both sides happy with the deal, but this is yet another occasion where our expert negotiators were able to conclude a successful sale where other agents had lost momentum.
